Support Our Troops
Virginia Tire & Auto teamed up with the organization “Any Soldier” to collect donations of goods to send to service members stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan in May 2011. We had a donation box at each of our 11 stores and collected enough items to fill 115 care packages. “Because so many of our customers and employees come from military families we felt that sending care packages to our troops would be a great way to give back to our community while at the same time thanking the brave men and women who are sacrificing everything to serve our country overseas” said Myron Boncarosky, President of Virginia Tire & Auto. Employees of Virginia Tire & Auto sorted, assembled and mailed out the goods on June 13, 2011. Below are just a few of the pictures from our “sort” party, where we assembled 115 care packages for our Troops.
